What genius though to put a crossing at a busy intersection that is a major hub for traffic in Lane Cove? At the corner of Birdwood Ave & Longueville Rd in Lane Cove is a mess.
As Sydney Buses queue across the intersection blocking the crossing and cars ready to turn into Birdwood Ave and someone walks straight out onto the crossing and almost gets hit and creates a traffic snarl.
Lane Cove Council, you are a bunch of fools for not addressing the situation. Placing a traffic island on Longueville Rd doesn’t help & adding a speed hump is even worse.
No wonder Lane Cove Council is rated in the bottom 5 councils in Sydney.
